Ariana Grande şi Taylor Swift, cele mai multe nominalizări la MTV

Ariana Grande şi Taylor Swift sunt artistele care au primit cele mai multe nominalizări la MTV Video Music Awards, gală ce va avea loc pe 26 august la Prudential Center din Newark, New Jersey.

Grande şi Swift au primit câte zece selecţii, fiind urmate de debutanta Billie Eilish, cu nouă, rapperul Lil Nas X, cu opt, şi de Halsey şi Shawn Mendes, cu câte cinci, potrivit Variety, transmite Știri.md cu referire la news.ro.

Între artiştii care au mai fost nominalizaţi se numără Camila Cabello, Cardi B, J Balvin, Jonas Brothers şi BTS, fiecare cu câte patru selecţii. Lista celor triplu nominalizaţi cuprinde nume ca Anderson .Paak, Drake, FKA twigs, H.E.R., LSD, Rosalia şi Solange.

La categoria ”Video of the Year” au fost nominalizate: ”A lot” – 21 Savage ft. J. Cole, ”Bad Guy” – Billie Eilish, ”Thank U, Next” – Ariana Grande, ”Sucker” – Jonas Brothers, ”Old Town Road (Remix)” – Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus, şi ”You Need to Calm Down” – Taylor Swift.

Artistul anului va fi ales dintre Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Jonas Brothers şi Shawn Mendes.

La categoria debut au fost nominalizaţi Ava Max, Eilish, H.E.R., Lil Nas X, Lizzo şi Rosalia.

The 1975 – „Love It If We Made It”, Fall Out Boy – ”Bishops Knife Trick”, Imagine Dragons – ”Natural”, Lenny Kravitz – ”Low”, Panic! At The Disco – ”High Hopes” şi twenty one pilots – ”My Blood” sunt nominalizaţii categoriei ”Best Rock”.

Două categorii au fost incluse în gala MTV VMA de anul acesta: „Best K-pop” şi „Video for Good”.

Actorul şi scriitorul Sebastian Maniscalco va fi gazda ceremoniei.
